We set a Guinness World Record!!!

 

NW Ringette successfully set a Guinness World Record on December 23, 2013 for the "Most Players in a Ringette Exhibition Match". We are proud to say that this is the first ringette-related Guinness World Record ever set, and we did it to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our fantastic sport.

 

We've had great feedback on the event itself, everyone really enjoyed the day, and we'd like to thank all the volunteers who worked tirelessly to make it happen. All those who took part in the event were sent an email with a Participant Verification Code which gives access to purchase an official individualized Certificate of Participation. Congratulations to all!

Unfortunately our record is not included in the latest GWR book... our record was verified and approved too late in the year for inclusion. We may be in the book next year, but there are many records set during the course of a year and they have to choose just a few to publish.
