Registration for the 2010/2011 ringette season has now begun.

The registration deadline for all direct and indirect-community players is September 1 of each new season.

There will be a $50 late fee charged for late registrations and at that time NW Ringette Association will not guarantee placement of any athlete to a division.

Direct and Indirect-Community Registrations

NW Ringette Association accepts two types of registrations: Direct and Indirect-Community.

• Direct registration is for those families whose community associations do not offer ringette registrations a part of their community sport program.

• Indirect-Community registration is offered by various NW communities associations that offer ringette as part of their sports program. Families from communities that offer ringette registration must register through their association, they cannot register direct with NW Ringette.

Ringette Fees

Fees for ringette vary depending on the community in which you reside. (Some associations require participation in other volunteer activities, like bingo. Others do not, and their fees reflect the difference.)

Check with your community association for the applicable dues.

Ringette fees include required payments to Ringette Calgary and Ringette Alberta.

Refunds of ringette fees are as follows:

If a player registers and subsequently notifies the registrar of their desire to cancel their registration in writing prior to the end of the evaluation process, all fees except a $50 non refundable administration fee will be refunded.

If a player notifies the registrar of their desire to cancel their registration in writing prior to November 1st, a portion of the fees will be refunded after deducting Ringette Alberta fees, Ringette Calgary fees, administrative fees, and pro-rata ice time fees.

A registration late fee of $50.00 only applies to Direct and Crowchild registrants only and is $50 (if the registration is received after registration deadline currently September 1st (subject to change).

Once a player has participated in league play, any fees for withdrawal would be pro-rated based on the amount charged for the season. The $50 administration fee would also be deducted.
