Team Managers:

Thank you for volunteering to manage your child's ringette team this season. Being involved in managing a sports team can be a lot of fun and a very rewarding experience.

Ringette Canada offers a Managers' Certification Program for all team Managers. This is a 'do on your own time', at home course for ringette Managers that will provide the basic knowledge with which to manage a sports team. Once you have read the manual and completed the course there is an open book, self-administered exam to complete and send into Ringette Canada.

Managers of all divisions Petite and up must have completed this course prior to December 31st of the new ringette season in order to be eligible to compete in Provincial Championships. NW Ringette Association recommends the course to all Bunny and Novice team Managers as well.

Although much of the information will seem above what you require at the younger divisions, once you have successfully finished the course your certification is forever.

NW Ringette Association covers the cost of the manual required to complete the course. These books are available from the Manager Coordinator.
